Anchovies (멸치) are used in various Korean dishes, such as soups and side dishes. Tongyeong is known as the "Naples of the East" and has a long history and culture of local cuisine. In Korea, Tongyeong anchovies caught off the southern coast, in particular, are highly regarded. This is because they have low oil content and a delicate silver appearance due to the fast currents.
Kevin's Choice Georimyeolchi (dried anchovies) are made from anchovies caught in the pristine waters of Tongyeong during the peak season. They are produced under strict management in a certified facility with HACCP certification and the quality certification from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, ensuring safety and peace of mind.
