Introducing our premium Gochujang, which undergoes a natural fermentation process in traditional earthenware crocks. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced Korean ingredients, from premium red pepper powder to glutinous rice flour, meju powder, malt syrup, sesame oil, sea salt, and rice syrup. Each ingredient is thoughtfully chosen to ensure the highest quality.
Our journey begins with boiling soybeans in iron cauldrons, creating meju, fermented soybean blocks. These meju blocks are then carefully layered with straw in our earthenware chambers for fermentation. Over the Lunar New Year period, the crocks are filled with the paste, and a meticulous process of opening and closing the lids is repeated to nurture an authentic and flavorful product.
Kevin's Choice Gochujang proudly holds certification as a traditional food product and is free from MSG, preservatives, or artificial coloring. Additionally, we are certified as a rural complex industry.
We are committed to using 100% Korean soybeans and avoiding any artificial additives throughout the production process. From the initial soybean boiling in the cauldron to the final fermentation in the earthenware crocks, we take great care in preserving the quality of our ingredients, resulting in a rich and authentic traditional soybean paste.
